Fire hits home in Harmony Hills

OGLETOWN, DELAWARE (11/26/2015) Fire broke out at a home in the Harmony Hills neighborhood on Wednesday night but all of the residents safely escaped the blaze, authorities said.

The fire in the 400 block of Tamara Circle was reported at 8:38 p.m.

Christiana firefighters arrived to what was described as an active fire, said Sgt. Michael McColley of New Castle County paramedics.

Mill Creek, Cranston Heights and Aetna Hose, Hook & Ladder fire companies also responded.

Paramedics provided medical support, McColley said.

The Delaware state Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the fire in a 55-year-old ranch home.
