Police seek Frankford theft suspect

FRANKFORD, DELAWARE (11/25/2015) Delaware State Police say they are searching for a burglary suspect in the Frankford area.

John W. Shaw 2nd, 33, of Frankford, is wanted on two counts of burglary, four counts of theft and one of unauthorized use of a credit card. He also is wanted on 11 warrants from courts in Sussex and New Castle counties.

Police said Shaw broke into a home in September in the 36000 block of Camp Barnes Road near Frankford and took a wallet containing cash and credit cards from a farmer who had employed him for odd jobs.

Shaw also returned to the home in late October and removed a power washer, police said.

Shaw also is sought in the theft of a wallet from a 68-year-old’s home in the 34000 block of Red Oak Drive, police said, and use of a credit card to make a $50 purchase at the Harris Teeter supermarket in Selbyville.
