BRIDGEVILLE, DELAWARE (11/12/2015) Two men were arrested in connection with numerous burglaries and thefts in the Bridgeville area, Delaware State Police said.
Kenneth H. Fairbank Jr., 31, and Shane J. Fairbank, 30, both of Bridgeville, were arrested Wednesday in the 17000 block of Meadow Drive.
A resident reported someone had entered an unsecured garage and stolen medication. Police said there also was an attempted burglary at a nearby home, where two men were seen opening a storm door and pulling the door handle.
Troopers and a K-9 later took them into custody in the neighborhood.
Police said detectives linked them to several other burglaries and thefts in the area. In most, police said, they entered unsecured homes and vehicles at night, taking items including money and prescription medicine.
Shane Fairbank was charged with four counts of second-degree burglary, two counts of third-degree burglary, second-degree attempted burglary, third-degree criminal trespass, felony theft, four counts of theft, two counts of attempted theft, two counts of attempt to acquire or obtain possession of a controlled substance by theft, two counts of second-degree conspiracy and two counts of criminal mischief. He was being held on $71,250 secured bond.
Kenneth Fairbank Jr. was charged with second-degree burglary, second-degree attempted burglary, attempt to acquire or obtain possession of a controlled substance by theft, attempted theft, two counts of second-degree conspiracy. He was being held on $28,000 secured bond.
Lewes man sought in multiple thefts
