Lewes man sought in multiple thefts

REHOBOTH BEACH, DELAWARE (11/11/2015) A 32-year-old Lewes man is wanted by Delaware State Police on theft, burglary and selling stolen property charges.

Police said David A. Ciabattoni Jr. took stolen cellphones and sold them at the GameStop store on Coastal Highway (Route 1) near Rehoboth Beach.

In one case, police said, he shoplifted a cellphone from the Atlantic Cellular store on Coastal Highway, then went to GameStop.

On two other occasions, police said, Ciabattoni went to his ex-girfriend’s home in the Oak Forest mobile home park in Long Neck and removed jewelry and money, later pawning the jewelry.

State police said he also is wanted by Lewes police in connection with several thefts.
