2 injured in Naamans Road crash

BRANDYWINE HUNDRED, DELAWARE (11/6/2015) Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash early today on Naamans Road, authorities said.

The accident happened about 12:10 a.m. in the 2000 block, in the area of Foulk Road.

A 36-year-old man driving a pickup truck was treated by paramedics for a head injury and taken by ambulance to Christiana Hospital, said Cpl. Abigail E. Haas of New Castle County paramedics.

Another person was taken to the hospital by ambulance, she said.

Delaware State Police are investigating the crash.

Claymont and Talleyville fire companies responded.
