UPDATED STORY: Gas station robbed 2nd time in two days
NEW CASTLE, DELAWARE (11/5/2015) A woman and a man robbed a gas station on Route 273 near New Castle, the Delaware State Police said Tuesday.
The robbery happened at the Dash In Shell station at 288 Christiana Road, at the Airport Road intersection, about 8:45 p.m. Monday.
The pair approached a clerk and the man showed a handgun and demanded money from the register. The clerk complied and the pair ran out toward Airport Road with the cash.
The male clerk was not injured.
Both robbers were described as 20-30 years old. The woman was about 5-feet-3 and 110-120 pounds. She was wearing a dark blue or grey hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
The man was white, 5-feet-10 to 6-feet-1 and 160-180 pounds. He was wearing a long-sleeved shirt with a dark hooded sweatshirt underneath it, and blue jeans.
