MILFORD, DELAWARE (11/5/2015) A 23-year-old Georgetown man has been charged with stalking a woman after she left work in Milford, city police said today.
Malcom A. Bowden, 23, was arrested after the Oct. 26 domestic dispute that began in the 900 block of S. Walnut St.
The 19-year-old woman left a local business where she worked and saw Bowden sitting across the street in his vehicle, Detective Dwight Young said.
Bowden then followed her vehicle onto numerous streets in Milford and began tailgating her, then passed on South Walnut, turned his vehicle sideways to block the roadway, Young said, forcing her to stop.
He then went to her vehicle and tried to open the doors, which were locked, and began punching the front windshield, shattering it, Young said.
Bowden then fled but was later apprehended. He was arraigned and released on $1,600 secured bond.
