NEW CASTLE, DELAWARE (10/31/2015) A robber escaped with cash from a Sunoco station on Route 273 near New Castle, the Delaware State Police said this morning.
The robbery happened about 8:45 p.m. Friday at 285 Christiana Road (Route 273).
The male robber demanded cash and the clerk turned over money from the register. No weapon was displayed or implied.
The ran east on Route 273. No one was injured in the robbery.
The robber was described as black, 160-180 pounds and was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, dark jeans and black shoes.
