NEW CASTLE, DELAWARE (10/27/2015) A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash with another vehicle on U.S. 13 near New Castle, authorities said this morning.
The accident happened about 9:45 p.m. Monday in the 200 block of N. DuPont Highway (U.S. 13), near New Castle Airport.
Cpl. Abigail E. Haas of New Castle County paramedics said the 39-year-old man on the motorcycle was treated for a lower extremity injury before being taken by ambulance to Christiana Hospital in Stanton in serious but stable condition.
Delaware State Police are investigating the crash.
Wilmington Manor Fire Company also responded.
