LINCOLN, DELAWARE (9/17/2015) A woman was seriously injured this evening in a single-vehicle crash on U.S. 113 near Lincoln, the Delaware State Police say.
The crash happened about 7:30 p.m. as the woman , whose name has not been released, was driving a 2015 Kia Forte south just north of Clendaniel Road.
The car went off the west side of the highway, struck a tree and overturned, police said.
She was flown by state police helicopter to Christiana Hospital in Stanton.
Traffic on U.S. 113 (DuPont Boulevard) was affected about 90 minutes as police investigated and the wreckage was cleared.
