WILMINGTON, DELAWARE (9/9/2015) Judge Fred S. Silverman, who has served on Superior Court since 1993, is stepping down, officials announced today.
His retirement is effective Nov. 28.
Silverman had earlier served as a prosecutor, state solicitor and chief deputy attorney general .
President Judge Jan R. Jurden issued a statement for the court lauding Silverman’s career. “In addition to being an excellent trial judge, Judge Silverman is a learned jurist who has authored thousands of opinions and orders, which have contributed greatly to the body of law.”
