DOVER, DELAWARE (9/1/2015) An 18-year-old man was punched and robbed in Dover late Monday, city police reported this morning.
The incident happened between 11 and 11:25 p.m. at South American Avenue and Southwest Kings Highway.
The teen was walking home when three black males approached him from behind and began punching him, then threw him to the ground, police said.
One of the attackers stepped on the teen’s neck while the others removed his cellphone and backpack.
The three attackers then fled.
They were described as ranging from 5-feet-8 to 6 feet tall, with thin builds. Two wore black hooded sweatshirts and the other a white T-shirt, Master Cpl. Mark Hoffman said.
