Gun, drug arrest follows fight at Hollywood Diner in Dover

DOVER, DELAWARE (8/24/2015) City police arrested a 34-year-old man on gun and drug charges following a fight reported at the Hollywood Diner, authorities said today.

The incident happened happened at 2:24 a.m. Saturday.

As officers arrived, they were told a gold Buick had just fled after someone displayed a handgun, Master Cpl. Mark Hoffman said.

Officers found the car at North Edgehill Ave. and White Oak Road, and inside found a 9 mm handgun and heroin belonging to Lewis Cobb of Dover, Hoffman said.

Cobb, of the 900 block of Forrest Ave. in Dover, was charged with carrying a concealed deadly weapon, possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released on unsecured bond.
