Police seek tips in produce stand thefts

LAUREL, DELAWARE (8/8/2015) Delaware State Police released surveillance photos from two produce stand thefts today and asked for tips from the public to identify the culprits.

The thefts happened July 24 and July 31 at the stand operated by a 17-year-old boy in the 32000 block of Bi-State Blvd.

In the first robbery, a white woman with blond hair and wearing a white shirt removed cash from a payment box and fled in a PT Cruiser.

In the second robbery, a woman wearing a zebra-patterned dress removed produce without paying, police said, then left in a maroon minivan.
