NEW CASTLE, DELAWARE (8/4/2015) A 38-year-old man was in critical condition after being struck by a tractor-trailer he was working on near New Castle, authorities said.
The accident happened about 3:30 p.m. in the 900 block of Lambson Lane.
He was treated at the scene for severe head and facial injuries and then taken to Christiana Hospital in Stanton, said Cpl. Abigail E. Haas of New Castle County paramedics.
Delaware State Police are investigating the incident.
Holloway Terrace, Good Will and Wilmington Manor fire companies also responded.
