MIDDLETOWN, DELAWARE (7/5/2015) A 44-year-old Townsend man was seriously injured in a motorcycle crash south of Middletown, Delaware State Police said Saturday.
The accident happened about 7:45 p.m. Friday on Levels Road near Dogtown Road.
Police said Jay A. Miller was southbound on a 2015 Harley Davidson when it went off the east side of the road for unknown reason and overturned, ejecting him from the bike.
Miller was treated at the scene by New Castle County paramedics and flown to Christiana Hospital by Delaware State Police helicopter.
Police said Miller was not wearing an approved helmet.
