WILMINGTON, DELAWARE (6/23/2015) A crash with an overturned vehicle jammed northbound Interstate 495 for an hour this morning, Delaware State Police report.

The accident happened about 6:30 a.m. north of Terminal Avenue.

A 2000 Honda Civic driven by Nicole Snyder, 23, of Elkton, Maryland, was in the left lane attempting to make a lane change as another vehicle was entering the center lane at the same time, police said, with Snyder overcorrecting and striking the center median, causing her vehicle to overturn.

She was taken by ambulance to Christiana Hospital for injuries not life-threatening. Charges are pending, police said.

At 7:30 a.m. the two left lanes remained closed. Wreckers were on the scene and all lanes were reopened a few minutes later.
