TALLEYVILLE, DELAWARE (6/9/2015) An armed man who robbed the Artisans’ Bank branch in Talleyville on Monday also robbed the bank last month, Delaware State Police said today.

Monday’s robbery happened about 9:30 a.m. at 3631 Silverside Road.

The robber with a handgun confronted a teller and demanded cash. She complied and the man then fled. No one was injured.

Detectives determined the robber was the same man who held up the bank about 9:15 a.m. on May 14, also using a handgun. No one was injured in that robbery.

He is described as white, 25-35 years old, about 5-feet-11 and 180 pounds with medium build.

In the first robbery he wore a grey long-sleeved T-shirt, blue jeans, a baseball cap and dark glasses.

In Monday’s robbery, he wore an orange-and-white button-down shirt, orange baseball cap, blue jeans and blue sneakers. He covered his face with a dark bandanna.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Daniel Grassi at 302-365-8441.

Tips also may be submitted anonymously through Delaware Crime Stoppers, which offers rewards, at 800-847-3333 or www.delaware.crimestoppersweb.com.

The same branch also was robbed in November, and an Artisans’ branch in Milford was robbed last week.
