Hate crime investigated in Claymont

CLAYMONT, DELAWARE (6/8/2015) The painting of a swastika and a racial slur on a car in the Knollwood neighborhood is being called a hate crime by New Castle County police.

A woman reported the incident in the first block of Denham Ave. to police Sunday morning.

The slur and swastika were etched into the paint of the car, which was parked in front of the victim’s home, sometime overnight, Officer First Class Tracey Duffy said.
