NEW CASTLE, DELAWARE (6/8/2015) Several residents were forced into a residence at gunpoint and restrained during a home-invasion in the Buckley community west of New Castle, police said this morning. Two of the victims were assaulted and required medical treatment.

The incident happened just before 10 p.m. Friday in the first block of Douglas Drive. The three male and one female intruders ransacked the home and escaped with property and one of the victim’s vehicles.

One of the victims, still partially restrained, was able to flee and get to a nearby gas station for help, Officer First Class Tom Jackson said.

The stolen vehicle, a blue Subaru Legacy station wagon with Ontario registration BPZL094, is still missing this afternoon, Jackson said.

The intruders also left in a black vehicle of unknown make.

Jackson asked anyone with information to call police at 302-395-8110.
