NEW STORY: Burger King on Concord Pike robbed by 2 masked gunmen
FAIRFAX, DELAWARE (6/5/2015) Three people, including two restaurant employees, were robbed at gunpoint early today at a Burger King, Delaware State Police said.
The robbery happened about 12:35 a.m. as two female employees of the business at 2802 Concord Pike (U.S. 202) had just left the building after closing for the night.
They were confronted by three men, one armed with a handgun, police said.
The robbers demanded they re-enter the restaurant, but the victims said they could not.
Two of the robbers then grabbed the victims’ pocketbooks as the third demanded cash from a 54-year-old man seated in a truck in the parking lot.
The man complied and the three robbers, all described as black, fled to the west.
The victims were not injured, police said.
The man with a gun was described as 18-22 years old, 5-feet-11 to 6 feet tall and 160-180 pounds. He was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and had his face partially concealed.
The second robber was 16-22 years old, about 5-feet-6 and 120-130 pounds. He was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt.
The third was about 5-feet-6 and 130-140 pounds. He also was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt.
