PIKE CREEK, DELAWARE (6/3/2015) Several people were assaulted and tied up during an armed home invasion in the Drummond Ridge community in Pike Creek, New Castle County police reported Tuesday.
The crime happened about 2:45 a.m. Saturday in the first block of Martine Court.
Police said one person was lured out of the home and accosted by several black males, some of whom had guns.
That victim and several other occupants were then tied up by the intruders, who ransacked the town house and removed several items, Officer First Class Tom Jackson said.
Those assaulted suffered minor injuries, Jackson said.
The intruders wore black hooded sweatshirts and masks.
