NEWARK, DELAWARE (5/30/2015) A man was seriously injured Friday in a mountain bike crash at White Clay Creek State Park north of Newark, authorities said.
The accident was reported at 12:17 p.m. in the 100 block of Smith Mill Road.
The 41-year-old man was treated at the scene for possible upper extremity, chest and back injuries, said Cpl. Abigail Haas of New Castle County paramedics.
He was flown to Christiana Hospital in Stanton by Delaware State Police helicopter.
