NEW CASTLE, DELAWARE (5/30/2015) A gunman with a bandanna over his face robbed a restaurant on U.S. 40 west of New Castle on Friday afternoon, Delaware State Police said.
The robbery happened just after 4 p.m. at La Estrella Tienda Mexicana Restaurant, 795 Pulaski Highway.
A 26-year-old female employee at the counter turned over cash and the robber with a handgun fled out a rear door and entered a white van that drove off.
No one was injured.
The robber was described as white, about 5-feet-11, 180-190 pounds and was wearing a white shirt, dark pants and gloves.
