PRICES CORNER, DELAWARE (5/18/2015) A 49-year-old man has died from injuries he received in an assault late last month, Delaware State Police reported today, and the death was ruled a homicide.

Kevin Norris, 49, of Wilmington, was pronounced dead on May 9 at Christiana Hospital in Stanton.

An autopsy by the Office of Forensic Sciences found he died from blunt force trauma to the head, police said.

Police earlier had said Norris was punched by another male during an argument in the parking lot of a business in the 1800 block of E. Newport Gap Pike about 11 p.m. on April 28.

The one who punched him then fled in a vehicle, police said.
