3 teens charged in arson destroying 1871 home

MILLTOWN, DELAWARE (4/27/2015) Three teenagers have been charged with setting a fire that destroyed a Milltown home built in 1871, authorities said today.

The fire happened Nov. 27 in the 1400 block of Milltown Road, off Limestone Road, and caused  more than $200,000 damage

The teens – ages 15, 16 and 19 – were apprehended after an investigation by deputy fire marshals, said Michael G. Chionchio, assistant state fire marshal. The three males were charged with felony arson, burglary and conspiracy. Each was released on $15,000 unsecured bond.

Chionchio said the investigation was concluded last week with the arrest of the final suspect.

He did not release their names.
