Fire at old Milltown home ruled arson

MILLTOWN, DELAWARE (12/29/2014)  A fire that heavily damaged an old house in Milltown last month was arson, investigators said today.

The fire happened Nov. 27 in the 1400 block of Milltown Rioad, causing an estimated $200,000 damage to the home built in 1871.

“State Fire Marshal Deputies have determined that a person or persons entered the building and intentionally started the fire,” said Robert Fox, deputy state fire marshal

He asked anyone with information to call the state Fire Marshal’s Office at 302-323-5375.
