NEW CASTLE, DELAWARE (4/26/2015) A 20-year-old man was in serious but stable condition after being struck by an auto this afternoon in the Collins Park neighborhood near New Castle, authorities said.
The pedestrian accident happened about 2:50 p.m. in the 300 block of Single Ave.
The victim was treated at the scene for head, back and lower extremity injuries, said Cpl. Abigail E. Haas of New Castle County paramedics.
New Castle County police are investigating.
