UPDATE: 4th robbery at Wawa store near New Castle
NEW CASTLE, DELAWARE (4/20/2015) A Wawa convenience store near New Castle was robbed at gunpoint by two masked young men early today, Delaware State Police said.
The crime happened about 1 a.m. at 531 E. Basin Road (Route 141) and it was at least the third time this year that a robbery has occurred at the same store.
The robbers, both with handguns, were described as black and 17-25 years old. One was about 6 feet tall and 175 pounds, wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, black jeans and black shoes.
The other was about 6-feet-2 and 190 pounds, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black jeans and black shoes.
Two women working at the store, one 26 and the other 23, were not injured.
