NEW CASTLE, DELAWARE (1/31/2015) Two masked, armed robbers escaped with cash from a Wawa convenience store near New Castle, state police said this morning.
Three women working at the store were not injured.
The crime happened about 11:35 p.m. at 531 E. Basin Road (Route 141).
The two robbers fled toward the William Penn Village Apartments, Master Cpl. Jeffrey Hale said.
They were described as 5-feet-6 to 6 feet tall and wearing black clothing. One had a handgun.
