WILMINGTON, DELAWARE (4/15/2015) Two people were injured in a fire in the 100 block of S. Jackson St. late Tuesday night, according to reports from the scene.
The fire broke out about 11:30 p.m. in the kitchen of 105 S. Jackson.
An elderly man from the home was taken by ambulance to a hospital with smoke inhalation.
Smoke also entered 103 S. Jackson, forcing two adults, two small children and two dogs to get out of the home. A female was treated at the scene for smoke inhalation.
Cause of the fire is under investigation.
