DELAWARE (3/18/2015) A day after the temperature climbed to 70 Degrees, snow is back in the forecast for Delaweare.
The snow is expected to begin around 2 a.m. Friday with less than an inch of accumulation. It may mix with or turn to rain in mid-afternoon, according to the National Weather Service.
Driving conditions Friday morning may be slippery.
The storm may bring more snow in eastern Pennsylvania, with 3-4 inches in the Pocono Mountains.
Sunny weather is predicted today and Thursday, with high temperatures in the mid-40s and a low tonight in the mid-20s upstate and upper 20s downstate.
Tuesday’s high of 70 at Sussex County Airport near Georgetown was 15 degrees above the normal high for the day. The high of 69 at New Castle Airport was 16 above normal.
