ELSMERE, DELAWARE (2/10/2015) Police released a sketch this morning of a suspect in the distraction burglary of an elderly woman in the Bellemoor community south of Elsmere.

A man approached the victim on Feb. 2, claiming to want to discuss an issue on her property to get her outside the home, Officer First Class Tom Jackson of New Castle County police said.

The victim saw another man inside the home when she went inside, Jackson said.

The suspect in the sketch is described asĀ in his 40s, with pale skin and about 5-feet-5 and about 150 pounds. He had light blue eyes and dark hair under a wool winter cap.

Jackson asked anyone with information to call Detective Robert Ellis at 302-395-8110.
