LITTLE HEAVEN, DELAWARE (2/3/2015) An armed man escaped with cash from a Valero gas station on Route 1, state police said this morning.
The robbery happened about 11:20 a.m. Monday at the gas station at 7865 Bay Road.
The man armed with a handgun fled west behind the gas station and convenience store.
The clerk, a 54-year-old woman, was not injured.
The robber was described as 20-25 years old, 5-feet-10 to 6 feet and 160-170 pounds. He was dressed in a black hooded sweatshirt with black pants.
