SEAFORD, DELAWARE (2/2/2015) More than 1,400 Delaware Electric Cooperative customers who lost power for more than 90 minutes this morning have had service restored.
Spokesman Jeremy Tucker said, “We had a problem at our Mumford substation near Seaford, a piece of electrical equipment shorted out.”
He said crews will be working in the substation during the day to make sure the problem is fixed.
