OAK ORCHARD, DELAWARE (1/29/2015) One person died after fire burned a home in the Oak Orchard area east of Millsboro, authorities said.
The home was fully involved in flames when firefighters arrived in the 32000 block of Circle Drive in the Orchard Manor neighborhood around 8 p.m.
The victim was found inside the home and taken to Beebe Healthcare’s hospital in Lewes, where he died, said Michael Chionchio, assistant state fire marshal.
Investigators are trying to determine how the fire started.
Chionchio said damage was estimated at $100,000.
