WILMINGTON, DELAWARE (1/28/2015) Police tonight announced an arrest in Tuesday’s shooting death of a 26-year-old man in the 900 block of E. 17th St.
The victim was identified as Donnell Clark, of Wilmington.
Police released the following details:
“Detectives from the Criminal Investigation Division and the Homicide Unit, through investigative measures quickly developed a suspect in the Homicide. Ultimately, a search warrant was executed on a residence in the 600 block of E.11th Street and Rhishawn McNeil, 22, of Wilmington was taken into custody without incident. McNeil was transported to police headquarters and was charged with the following offenses:
• Murder 1st Degree
• Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony.”
McNeil is being held without bail at Young Correctional Institution in Wilmington.
