Police: Cocaine found in prosthetic leg, man arrested

DOVER, DELAWARE (1/27/2015) City police say a Dover man was arrested after officers found cocaine in a prosthetic leg.

The arrest happened about 2:30 p.m. Monday after a traffic stop on McKee Road south of College Road.

Police said a K-9 alerted on the drugs in the Chevrolet Tahoe.

Marlow Holmes, 39, as found to be in possession of 28.7 grams of cocaine hidden in the leg, Cpl. Mark Hoffman said.

Holmes was charged with possession with intent to deliver cocaine, possession of cocaine in a tier 5 quantity and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was being held at Vaughn Correctional Center near Smyrna in lieu of $81,000 secured bond.
