Dunkin’ Donuts, 1142 Elkton Road.
NEWARK, DELAWARE (1/18/2015) A Dunkin’ Donuts employee was robbed at gunpoint today, Newark police report.
The incident happened about 4:50 p.m. in the restaurant at 1142 Elkton Road.
A man, his face covered with a black and white bandanna, threatened an employee who was on a break at a table in the dining room.
He fled with the employees personal property, but police didn’t disclose what was taken.
The robber was last seen running across Elkton Road to McIntire Drive.
Lt. William Hargrove said no vehicle was seen and a police K-9 search failed to find the man.
