SEAFORD, DELAWARE (1/13/2015) A 26-year-old Georgetown man was arrested in Millsboro about an hour after he robbed a customer Monday outside a deli near Seaford, state police said.

The robbery happened about 10:55 a.m. in the parking lot of the Middleford Deli, 10056 Middleford Road.

The 61-year-old victim had just left the store and entered his vehicle in the parking lot when a man opened the door, placed a gun to his neck and demanded money.

The victim turned over his cash and the robber fled in a white Oldsmobile Aurora.

The victim, who was not injured, called 911 and gave a description of the car, which was spotted just over an hour later by state probation and parole officers in Millsboro, police said.

The officers, with help of Millsboro police, stopped the car on Delaware Avenue and took Saint Joe J. Petion into custody, later turning him over to state troopers.

He was charged with robbery and possession of a firearm during commission of a felony. He was being held at Sussex Correctional Institution near Georgetown in lieu of $100,000 secured bond.
