UPDATED STORY: Man dies, suspect charged with first-degree murder
NEW CASTLE, DELAWARE (1/9/2015) A 23-year-old man was shot multiple times tonight in the Arbor Place neighborhood near New Castle, and authorities say he is in critical condition.
The shooting in the 200 block of Parma Avenue happened about 6:50 p.m.
Sgt. Michael McColley of New Castle County paramedics said the victim was treated on the scene and taken by ambulance to Christiana Hospital in Stanton.
New Castle County police are investigating the shooting.
