HARRINGTON, DELAWARE (1/6/2015) A 44-year-old woman has been arrested on identity theft charges, Harrington police reported today.
Lisa M. Kellam, of the first block of Arkansas Drive in Harrington, was arrested after detectives traced her through an address and phone number used on credit card applications, police said.
The investigation began in October when the victim, after getting a credit report on herself, discovered that someone had attempted to obtain two credit cards using her information.
Lt. Earl Brode said Kellam obtained the victim’s information from Kellam’s previous place of employment.
Kellam turned herself in to police on Monday. She was released on $8,000 unsecured bond.
