DOVER, DELAWARE (1/5/2015) A masked gunman fled with cash from the Valero/Shore Stop store at 1358 Forrest Ave., Dover police said today.

The robbery happened about 8:10 p.m. Sunday.

The robber, armed with a black semi-automatic handgun, confronted the clerk, who turned over the money.

The gunman was last seen fleeing northwest, toward Kenton Road.

He was described as 5-feet-8 to 5-feet-10 and 160 to 170 pounds and was wearing white sneakers, blue jeans, camouflage jacket and a black mask.

Cpl. Mark Hoffman said the employee did not suffer any physical injuries.
