Police name suspect in Artisans’ Bank robberies in Bear

BEAR, DELAWARE (12/16/2014) State police today named a suspect in two robberies at the Artisans’ Bank branch on U.S. 40 in Bear.

After an investigation by state police and the FBI in Wilmington, police said Marece M. Scott has been positively identified as the man who robbed the branch at 1124 Pulaski Highway on Oct. 25, 2012, and again on Jan. 18, 2013.

He was described as 6-feet-2, 195 pounds. He had lived in the 700 block of W. Third St. in Chester, Pennsylvania, and the 6600 block of Haddington Lane in Philadelphia.

He should be considered armed and dangerous, police said.

Scott is wanted on six counts of robbery and two of wearing a disguise during a felony.
