MILFORD, DELAWARE (12/10/2014) City police say the arrest of one burglary suspect led to the recovery of numerous stolen items but the man’s accomplices are still being sought.
Wayne Waltman, 23, of Pennsylvania, who had been sought on warrants from Milford and Kent County courts, had property in his possession from a burglary that had not yet been reported when he was arrested Friday, police said.
The owner of that home called to report the crime when Waltman was in custody.
Police said Waltman was connected to three burglaries within the city limits over a three-week period and surrendered items taken in the previous burglaries.
He was charged with multiple burglary and related counts and was committed to Sussex Correctional Institution in lieu of $55,500 secured bond.
