Quick look: Caroling events across Delaware

DELAWARE (12/1/2014) Thousands of people turn out each year for outdoor holiday caroling events in each of Delaware’s three counties. Here’s the schedule:

Tuesday, Dec. 2, at 6 p.m. Wilmington’s Caroling on the Square, at Rodney Square downtown.

Thursday, Dec. 4, at 6 p.m. Caroling by Dover’s City Hall, Loockerman Place, tree lighting ceremony with the mayor, ballet dance performances, children’s craft area in the Dover Public Library, free hot chocolate and cookies, horse-drawn carriage rides down Loockerman Street, a visit from Santa Claus at Loockerman Way Plaza. Downtown merchants open until 8 p.m.

Monday, Dec. 8, at 6:30 p.m.  31st annual Caroling on The Circle event sponsored by Sussex County government, in downtown Georgetown. Food drive associated with event will extend throughout December.
