CLAYMONT, DELAWARE (12/3/2014) A 43-year-old Claymont man was charged Tuesday with robbing two banks in the area last month, state police reported today.
Gilbert Penn was taken into custody without incident in the Overlook Colony development, police said.
Renn was charged in the robbery Nov. 2 at Wells Fargo Bank, 814 Philadelphia Pike near Bellefonte and the Nov. 28 robbery of Artisans’ Bank, 3631 Silverside Road in Talleyville.
He was being held at Young Correctional Institution in lieu of $12,000 secured bail.
