Pizza deliveryman robbed in Wilmington

WILMINGTON, DELAWARE (11/25/2014) City police say a food deliveryman was injured when he was robbed while attempting a delivery in the 800 block of S. Broom St.

Officers found the 39-year-old victim suffering from head and facial injuries about 11:40 p.m. Saturday.

He told officers he was approached by three males, 15-20 years old and dressed in dark hoodies and dark pants, who assaulted and robbed him.

The man was taken by ambulance to Christiana Hospital, where police said he was treated and released.
