NEW CASTLE, DELAWARE (6/29/2015) Delaware State Police are investigating the death of a person whose body was found in the Delaware River on Sunday afternoon.
The body was found about 4:10 p.m. off Riverview Beach Park in Pennsville Township, New Jersey.
The Pennsville Fire Department and the Delaware River and Bay Authority responded to recover the body.
The Delaware Division of Forensic Science was to conduct an autopsy to determine how the person died and identify the male.
