DOVER, DELAWARE (6/18/2015) A man and a woman are being sought after fleeing from separate prison work-release crews on Tuesday, the Delaware Department of Correction reported today.
One escape was in New Castle County and the other in Sussex County.
David Blunt, 30, of New Castle, was serving a one-year sentence at Plummer Community Corrections Center in Wilmington for violation of probation on a theft conviction. He fled from a supervised community service crew toward North Market Street, said department spokesman Jason Miller. An escape warrant was issued but he remains at large.
Blunt is white, about 5-feet-6 and 150 pounds with blue eyes and brown hair. He has tattoos on both arms and shoulders.
Kristine Lankford, 28, of Seaford, was serving a one-year sentence at Sussex Community Corrections Center in Georgetown for violation of probation on a drug possession and criminal impersonation conviction, Miller said.
He said Lankford left a supervised community service crew in Millsboro and an escape warrant was issued.
Lankford is white, about 5-feet-5 and 140 pounds, with green eyes and brown hair. She has tattoos on both wrists and her abdomen.
Miller asked anyone with information to call 800-542-9524 or local police.
